Finishing up the semester

Final Reflection:
Please review the final reflection project description to ensure that you understand the requirements. Viewing the website called Funderstanding will help you in the writing of your final reflection. Please note that the Final Reflection is due at the beginning of class on Wednesday, April 25 (in printed format, not online!) and it is not eligible for resubmittal.

Final Portfolio:
It's time to finish up your portfolio. All of your pages should be complete (except your introduction page.) You will also need to proofread your pages and ensure that all of your links work.

The final task to complete for your portfolio is to write a short introduction for your home page. The introduction should contain a succinct rationale for your portfolio. View portfolios from previous semesters for ideas of what to write.

The portfolio is due at the beginning of class on Wednesday, April 25. It is not eligible for resubmittal.

Creating a CD of your work:
Please bring a blank CD to class on Monday. We will create a menu of your work to organize the contents of your book CD.

Final Showcase:
During next Wednesday's class, you will be sharing the work you have created this semester. You will also be viewing the work of your classmates and voting on the portfolio that is most representative of the work that is completed in EDIT 2010. Prizes will be awarded. Make a plan for how you will display your work and how you will encourage fellow students to visit your display and vote for your portfolio.

For Next Week:
1. The Final Reflection, CD, and Final Portfolio are due at the beginning of class on Wednesday. No work will be accepted after 8:00 am on Wednesday, April 24. The Final Reflection must be typed and printed out before 8:00 am or it will not be accepted. I will not grade any reflections sent to me as email attachments.
2. If you need to turn in a late pass for an extra absence, you must bring it to class on Wednesday.
3.Prepare a display for the final showcase.
